Questioning whether it's really necessary to take a daily multivitamin?

For otherwise healthy people, supplements offer an extra layer of protection, on top of healthy living habits, like a safety belt on a careful driver, so you know you're doing your part to fill in any nutritional gaps from your daily diet, and get the most out of each day.
